It's time for a change. Things are messed up in Raleigh. Taxes are too high and we don't get enough in return for our investment. Taxes, unemployment, gas, food, everything that should be low is going up; and everything that should be high, like income, is going down.
A smaller government can solve this.
Every dollar that is taken from you in taxes, is one dollar less in freedom that you enjoy.
Government is the problem.
The economy is the worst since the Great Depression. Unemployment in North Carolina is 9.4%, higher than the national average. The real unemployment number (U-6) of those out of work or who have given up looking for work is 17.5%. In Cumberland County 15,000 of our neighbors are out of work.
Making the government smaller and smarter is what will get North Carolinians back to work. We are among the highest taxed citizens in the south.
We don't need more taxes, we need more tax payers.
I've never run for office before. I am an electronics technician on Ft. Bragg. I've proudly done three tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, serving our Soldiers, Sailors, and Marines. I stepped up.
I want to bring that level of common sense and commitment to Raleigh.
Your help is needed.
